  Quick update on sharing TTATT with my friend

  yesterday morning i got a message from my friend, the one i shared ttatt with last week and she wanted to meet for coffee.

  this is the story/friend i'm referring to http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/251494/1/ha-take-that-watchtower-one-less-borg-for-you.. i was really nervous because since our initial visit she had told me that two of her other jw friends wanted to talk to me.

  after a little more prodding she admitted that her friends didn't accept what their own wt said about god's name and they wanted to talk to me to "bring me back to the truth.".

  Thank you everyone. Because of all the great comments and support, I decided to continue with my writing and publishing. I just contacted the publisher that originally published the book and discovered that they had been bought out by a large Canadian Multi-media company. So I asked them if they would be interested in re-publishing it. I will keep everyone posted

  Oubliette: Sorry, that was 10 years ago. But to the best of our memory, it had a blue background kind of like picture #3 but the wording was larger and it had little blue pills all over it.

  Were You Ever Interrogated By The Elders?

  some elders enjoy giving the business to the lowly flock thru intimidation.

  some love to ask you to enter with them into the "backroom".. of course, there were many that never had run-ins with the shepherds because they were under the radar.. did you ever get interrogatted by the elders and if so, how did it go??

  That's what is so hilarious about all of this, there were no 2 sister's complaining about my book because it had just come out. The 'car group' that my daughter was in where this supposed complaining was done. Was in Sept of 2002, my book didn't come out until Mar 2003. Then it took him 'Awhile to even find it' because it wasn't available back then.

  Julia: It was pretty fun debating with an Insurance Salesman. If you noticed,the P.O [COBE] wasn't too happy that Hubby brought up the Viagra tie that he wore and the Viagra jokes he would tell to the brothers. What kind of example is that?

  Where's Caleb: Yu're right. Calm is better. When you get angry and yell at them they just shut their brains down and make you out the bad guy.

  ilike cheese: Yep. He said that was why the Society didn't use the European standards in their literature because they weren't up to bible standards. He stuck his foot in his mouth with that one!

  I would love for more of these to get recorded.

  i was just doing dishes not really thinking about anything in particular, and all of a sudden this experience came flooding back and i started crying.. a few years ago i went back to one of the states i lived in to see/visit my friends (before i learned ttatt, i was still a happy borg at this time).. the friends i were staying with had two young girls, one was 3rd grade and the other was preschool.

  so one day the father comes home after picking up the older girl (i think she was 7, 8...i'm not sure exactly this was several years ago) and she was all red and looked like she had been crying.

  i noticed she had some blue at the corner of her mouth.

  last week a friend of mine contacted me out of the blue asking if we could have lunch together.

  my friend has been studing with the jw's on and off for about 11-12 years i think.

  she has told me everytime i see her that she can't wait for jehovah to end this evil world...she can't wait for the new system...the end is so close....etc.. i sent her a message back telling her that i left the jw's and asked her if she had heard that.

And are applying personal opinion! I've had my fair share with an elder who told me to treat my not baptized? son as a disfellowshipped one, because he wasn't living a godly life! I told him where to stick it!
